Going to Grandma's
Little Bear was going to his grandparent's house for the weekend. He was so excited when Mama Bear said Grandma Bear called to invite him for the weekend. Yes, he wanted to go. He started jumping on his bed and singing happy songs. He likes going to visit because they always laugh and play with him. Mama Bear had to tell him to stop jumping on the bed. "You're going to fall and bump your head. You are going to get hurt!" exclaimed Mama Bear. Little Bear never thinks about getting hurt. He just likes to jump around. Mama Bear asked him to get his little "Going to Grandma's" suitcase and she would help him pack some clothes. He looked for it but it was not to be found amongst all his things, so he gave his mom this large    travel bag instead. This is too big for a weekend trip, but this camo print bag is just right. Little Bear pulled 5shirts and several pants from his chest and was grabbing more when Mama Bear slowed him down. "You don't need to pack everything you own just for the weekend," she said. Little Bear was too happy to even think about things he needed. He just loves his grandparents and all the special attention he gets from both of them. Grandma Bear always bakes his favorite treats and makes sure to serve in his favorite rooster bowl and Grandpa Bear lets him help tinker on his old fishing truck with his very own mini toolkit. Grandma reads him story booksand helps him color in his Spanish coloring books. She always has a special new surprise for him when he visits like a new camp shirt. Just as Mama Bear got his bag packed, she told Little Bear that he should be a good little bear while he is away and not to jump on the beds at his grandparent's house. She also explained that Grandma Bear would be making plans for an upcoming Valentine's event and she would need his help. Little Bear wasn't exactly sure what a Valentine's event was, but it sounded like a new adventure to him.  With that news, he grabbed his tote bag, his favorite pillow  and blanket   then hopped back on the bed for one final jump. Mama Bear just shook her head as she quickly held out her arms and caught her soft, little "bundle of fur" in mid air!
